Starting to feel a whole lot like 2022

Judge having a season for the ages, team off to a red hot start just to run into a wall with the combination of a suddenly suspect rotation and a manager who still doesn't have a clue.

Sorry I had to chuckle at that one too... DEJA BOONE!!! Classic. O's now a game back and ready to kick that door down and take the division over.

You’re the best, Bubbles. Lose 5 in a row but you get that one win in the last 6 and here you are vomiting all over the board again.

Deja Boone is pretty good.

At this point, I’m thinking Boone must have incriminating pictures or something that prevents him from being fired. Same with cashman.

No reason either of them should still be employed: one completely mismanages the payroll and the other completely mismanages the players.

Got home and it’s 5-0 Jays still in the first lol

Every start we get is bad now. Can’t remember the last time they had a lead in a game

Rodon had an era under 3 following his start in KC on 6/10

His ERA is now approaching after 3 bad starts....How fast things can change

I think the O’s are going to win the AL East - their lineup is much deeper than the Yankees lineup - Yankees are carried almost entirely by Judge and Soto.

Stanton being out is hurting them. I would consider changing the lineup a bit and put Volpe at the 4 or 5 because the bats after Soto and Judge are doing nothing

The problem is is will the pitching hold up? Throwing Suarez and Irvin out there every five days is going to hurt. Hopefully, whenever Kremer gets back, Suarez can go back to being a middle-long reliever.

Burnes, Rodriguez, Bradish, Means, Kremer/Wells/Irvin/Suarez is a lock to win the AL East.

Burnes, Rodriguez, Suarez, Irvin, Povich is not necessarily even a lock to make the playoffs, especially with the way the bullpen cant hold leads, and the team doesnt walk / manufacture runs / play small ball.

Sure, the Yankees look terrible now, but they wont for long, and Boston is much better than expected. I dont think the Rays are toast either.

Everyone is ass right now

Volpe's whiff and contact rates still look fine. He does hit a lot of grounders and he hasn't been getting a lot of hard contact. He's still just 23 with about 1.5 seasons in the majors.

Definitely agree. I think Povich can hold his own though as long as he stops trying to nibble around the corners, skyrocketing his pitch count.
