Since starting the season 9-17, the Yanks are 42-31 in their last 73 games (8th best in baseball). Bet @Pastafazul didn't know that

They probably are in terms of making the playoffs because the other 3 AL East teams are too good but this team has not been nearly as bad as he's been making it seem. They'll probably finish 3 or 4 games below last year win total which isn't bad at all considering they were 9-17 at one point.

I concurred last week. I don't take the Yankees out of anything until it's absolutely necessary. Ditto with Boston.

Lol no. The Yanks were projected to be a low-mid 80s win team coming into the season, but keep blaming Girardi. The offense going to shit is hardly surprising and the rotation is nothing special outside of Tanaka.

I told him that last week that we were projected as a low-mid 80's. He refuses to listen to anyone. His act is getting old already
