Own the Yankees how? They're 6-5 (5-5 in the regular season) against the Yankees since the start of last season. That is not owning a team.

You should check your facts before you make stupid statements such as the stros own the Yankees

So because they won a 1 game series means they own the Yankees? That is the stupidest thing I heard on this thread. So any team who lose the 1 game WC playoffs game means the team who defeated them owns them? Wow

Yanks were facing LHP Dallas Keuchel in that game. Last season against LHP, Ellsbury batted .253 with an OBP of .327 while Gardner against LHP batted .276 with an OBP of .361. If you had to sit one of them against a Lefty it clearly should have been Ellsbury.

Doesn't mean the Astros own them because they beat them in a 1 game series. That logic is pretty stupid. It ranks up there with saying team A owns team B because they beat them 4-3 in a best of 7 series. Your logic is stupid. The Astros doesn't own the Yankees at all.
