Jacoby Ellsbury is not in the Yankees' lineup Friday.

He's on the bench with the Giants starting lefty Madison Bumgarner. Brian McCann is also sitting out, as the Yanks are going with Aaron Hicks in center field and Austin Romine at catcher.

Fangraphs currently projects the Sox to finish 93-69, best in the AL. Jays (90-72) and O's (88-74) would also make the playoffs. Astros win the AL West at 88-74 and the Rangers just miss at 87-75.

Last time I checked, wins and losses in September counted the same as those in July.

Yankees been playing with fire all night. Tanaka got out of some huge jams. Betances got out of one in the 7th. Now Miller is in one now. 1st and 3rd with 2 outs. Yanks lead 2-1
