his ERA is "inflated" (or deflated) by a bunch of unearned runs. 3.41 RA/9 (prior to tonight; that includes unearned runs) is still good, and he's giving the Sox plenty of innings.

Rangers beat the Orioles 30-3 in 2007. Rangers scored in only 4 of those innings, but they put up 5/9/10/6 spots respectively.

I have a feeling Farrell could be gone soon. Not a fan of him, but I'm not sure that would really improve anything though. Back end starters have generally been a crap shoot over the years in baseball, but the Sox 4/5 guys have been especially bad. And when they're getting bad starts from Wright/Price/Porcello, they're fucked. It's not Farrell's fault that Buchholz/E-Rod/Kelly/Owens/etc have been atrocious.

Orioles doing what they do on the road.

The disparity between the home Orioles and road Orioles is so much more than the expected baseball edge.

They are more like an NBA team with the eye-popping inability to play on the road versus anyone with a pulse.

Although Seattle has thoroughly owned them badly lately wherever they play.

Hope they can salvage a game or two this series.

Yanks would probably be better off holding onto Betances. He's cheap and under control through 2020.
