He so concerned about his players being rested, like he's got some crystal ball, its absurd. NOT one of these current yankees are performing to the money they make, not one! these players have performed in other places, why not here? don't get me started!!! and why is it this team plays well vs the elite and suk vs the avg. to bottom cellars. To this point, exactly what i posted was going to happen has , win some, lose more, hover around .500, then fade when the teams that are better prepared bare down.

Umm, aren't the Yankees well below .500 vs. .500+ teams?

The Yanks are 43-44 despite a -38 run differential. Yanks should be further out than they are.

It is irrelevant because they only played 2 full seasons without MO. I'm sure in that short 2 year period that they're not the only team to not have a player lead the league in a statistical category in the majors. 2 years is extremely short. If they played 5 or 6 full seasons without MO then you may have a point

Yankees start the 2nd half on 10 game home stand against Boston, Baltimore, and San Fran. They really need to try to go 7-3 if they want to seriously think about contending for the WC spot. 7-3 would put them at 51-47 a week before the deadline
