I'll throw @bksballer89 and others a bone. Judge is mashing in AAA right now after a poor May (.183/.271/.327). He's hit .337/.462/.695 with 9 HR and 19:22 BB:K this month (basically prime Jason Giambi stats). He had 16 walks and 55 strikeouts the first two months. I imagine we'll get to see him later in the year, especially if the Yanks do sell.

Yeah I've been reading about it. Have no idea why they did not call him up yet. Just doesn't make sense.

Well, to be fair, it's only one good month. He struggled in his initial AAA call up last year as well. But if he continues to do this for another month or so, he'll be promoted sooner or later.

That's a tough one to swallow for Rangers fans after Friday night, even with all the wins lately.

Kind of crazy how the O's are running away with the East. 6 games up in the loss column on the Sox and up 7 on the Jays

As bad as the Yankees been, they're only 2 back in the loss column in the race for the 2nd WC race.

Right now in the AL there are 8 teams with between 36 and 39 losses. WC race shaping up to be crazy unless the Sox, Jays, Stros, or Royals get really hot and begin to pull away

It's frustrating because their rotation is worse than the Red Sox. Helps to have a better bullpen and manager.

Since 2012, the Orioles have the best overall record in the American League.
I am not sure why people nationally are surprised. They expected to contend in Baltimore.

They have the scariest offense, a good bullpen, and arguably the best manager in baseball.
If they even get average starting pitching, then can win 92-96 games with this core group of prime players.

They will lose some games thank to weak starters, but they are never going to be out of it with every batter in the lineup having a home run swing.

I want to see them be the first team ever to have five guys with 30+ homeruns.
It is still within a reasonable pacing.

I said I'm surprised they're running away with the division. Never said anything about being surprised about their record or that they're in first place

Holt's had a good game back so far (nails a runner at 2nd, hit a double). Wright's been bailed out by some good defense so far.

Davis, Trumbo, Machado, Jones and Schoop? Or do you think Alvarez or Wieters gets there?

I think Schoop finishes closer to around 25, but five players with 25+ home runs is still impressive. Three of those players could easily hit 35+ (Machado, Trumbo, Davis).

Ortiz just homered for his 2000th hit.

Grand slam Cron

Wright should have never faced him to begin with. I would have pulled Wright after the first two runners reached. He's been bailed out by the Sox defense all night.

he wasn't going to sustain the ~2 ERA forever. 1995 Wakefield 2.0 was fun while it lasted.

Yea he's been pitching a little better than he actually is. Still a great guy to have in the rotation.

...and rain delay.
