Gattis was swinging late on everything after the first pitch.

The second strike in this AB was huge. If the ump calls it right, the batter walked about four pitches ago.

Even in the Oakland series are starters were decent. Oakland scored 15 runs, but only 7 of them came in the first six innings.

Half glass Full

When Chapman returns, and i assume the offense can get something going

How much do we really need to ask out of these starters?

That BP will be historic

Who brilliant idea was it to start this game with rain in the forecast within an hour of first pitch?

It's time for RA Dickey to call it a career. He's no longer making sense to have on the roster.

Nova is going to replace Severino in the rotation very shortly. Not one good start this season.

Girardi needs to split up Severino and CC in the rotation. At this rate with those two going back to back, it puts a lot of wear and tear on the bullpen on back to back nights

Yeah, time for the Blue Jays to let go of RA Dickey. He's a terrible pitcher.

I feel the same about Luis Severino

Not let him go, but he belongs in AAA, and when he dominates there again, he should be traded, and not be brought back to the Bronx

Couldn't agree more. It is only time before he is sent back down and Nova takes his spot

Its really dissapointing to me that this team has no starting pitching depth, and guys like Aj Griffith, Rich Hill, Juan Nicascio, and many more, could have all been gotten on the very very cheap....Where is Cashman when these guys are looking for jobs?

As far as Severino, Paul Oneill pointed out a very alarming flaw with this kid...No deception, "Hitters can identify the difference between a strike and a ball as soon as he lets it go"

Thats awful, deception, and making balls look like strikes is most of what makes a great pitcher

Ortiz with three doubles today. One was almost a home run.
