Typical Eovaldi.

HR Tulo

4-2 Jays.

One thing I hate is losing a 3 game set after winning the first game. That really get under my skin

I wouldn't call this one just yet. If you see Brett Cecil entering the game, things can change in your favor in a hurry.

This Yankees offense is hit or miss. Usually if they're not doing anything in the first 6 innings, It is very unlikely they put up 3+ runs in the final 3 innings to get a W

Same EXACT team as last season..

And I hate Eovaldi

Yep he's good for maybe 4 innings before he gives up 3 or 4 runs....And even when he is actually pitching well, he uses too many pitches. Sure we'll see games where he allows 1 or 2 runs on 3 hits through 5 and is replaced because his pitch count is at 100+

He is a guy that we will never be able to trust......I never go into a game saying 'Oh Good Eovaldi is pitching tonight' cause you have no idea what you will get.....And this has been going on his whole career, so Ill be happy if they were able to package him at some point......Electric arms that 2 or 3 teams have already given up on, and we see why

As much as I dislike Eovaldi, the bats were at fault for this series. Other then the Jays huge 8th inning on Wednesday, we did a solid job of keeping their bats quiet for the most smart. Excluding the 8th inning on Wednesday, we allowed 9 runs in the other 24 innings. Bats need to wake the fuck up especially on the road

9 game homestand against the Mariners, A's, & Rays.

No reason why we can't go at least 6-3

Yup, thats why it reminds me so much of last season.....Prolonged slumps for the bats, when they score big, its usually in stretches, than they go quiet for a while......Every offseason all people talk about with this team is the starting pitching, and every season its the bats that fail at the worst times, like all of September 2015, or the WC game against the Stros........As much as I dont like Eovaldi, he pitched well enough to get a W last night.......The shine quickly wearing off on Castro after that scolding start...

Like what I've seen from Porcello so far in his first two starts, though he's been punished on the few mistakes he's thrown.

also, Vazquez' return couldn't have gone much better. Picked a runner off, went 2-4 and almost homered, and did a fantastic job framing pitches.

Glad to see that our offense finally woke up again in the 7th inning last night because leaving guys stranded on base was getting frustrating. Not as frustrating as our starting pitching though.
