Clearly, the Steinobrainsons gave up on this team when the Boss passed. And, if he was still around dumtardee would have been dumped long time ago!

As far as the games being sold out, that is misleading, freekin corporations have bought up most seats.

hope this never happens in BAUSTAN.

Huge series for Toronto coming up in Seattle starting tomorrow. I feel like if they lose that series (due to Seattle's schedule) that they will miss the playoffs. After their series with each other, Seattle go on the road for 6 against the Twinkies and Stros before ending the season with 4 at home with the A's. Toronto ends their season with 10 against the Yankees, O's, and Red Sox

The Yankees should not have been in the position they were a week ago in the division and WC. But once a team you root for is in that position you want to see them keep it up. Not lose 2 of 3 at home to a NL team then go to your rivals stadium and get swept in a 4 game series where you had a legitimate lead in 3 of those games.\

In other words this past week has sucked.

Congrats on the Division @navamind. Now here's to hoping y'all get beat down by Cleveland.

I could not say it any better. I could deal with the Red Sox or any team for that matter kicking our ass as the Sox did on Saturday but to give up a lead of 3 runs or more in 3 of 4 games make me sick. No reason why we shouldn't have left Boston without a split

They don't deserve the playoffs. I'm not sure Detroit or Seattle do, but the Jays don't.

this sweires with Seattle will make or break Toronto's season IMO. They have to win at least 2 games.

yankee fans on here are beyond delusional. A team with a 200 mill payroll, had no significant injuries, you have to take out a mortgage on your home to take family to a game and no playoffs.... and, AND you're a seller??? and AND AND, there are posters on here saying they should have not been in any position during any part of year tooooooooooooooo make playoffs.... scary!!

Another gem from Porcello, this time giving up 2 runs in 9 innings on only 89 pitches. He's thrown 210.2 innings in 31 starts. He's now pitched 7+ in 11 consecutive starts and his ERA sits at 3.08.

David Ross on what Jon Lester was thinking

I love Lester, but it was frustrating how Lester would let these errors/questionable balls/etc. get to him. There were several times it would lead to some bad innings for him, and this was especially common in 2012.

Strange how Baltimore owns Boston at Fenway....and Boston owns Baltimore at Camden.

The series is now tied 8-8 on the year with neither team winning a home series.

If Boston wins one more, the whole season will end without a home series win by either team.

Odd statistic.
