geez bskballer, do you have a life?
Cleveland Indians in 1999 scored over 1000 runs. Not a bad team.....Red Sox now at 790 runs. They need 110 in the final 20 games to reach 900, or an average of 5.5 runs per game. They're averaging 5.52 R/G on the season. Last team to score 900+ runs was the 2009 Yanks. Last year's Jays came awfully close at 891.
(Just looking back, the 2007 Yanks scored almost 1000 runs? Jesus. I knew they had a good lineup with A-Rod having a monster year, but I didn't remember it being that good.)

Omar and Robbie- the best defensive middle infield that I have ever seen (and I would think most)- both hit the crap outta the ball...
Robbie Alomar- .323/.422/.533....955 ops, 24 hr, 138 runs (WTF!) 120 rbis 37 steals
Omar Vizquel- .333/.397/.436 833 ops, 5 hr, 112 runs 42 steals
how bout Kenny?
.301/.405/.432 120 runs 25 steals
---not bad table setter on base percentages huh? .422, .397, and .405..
Power?
Jim Thome- .277/.426/.540 ops .967 33 hr 108 rbis 101 runs
Manny Ramirez- .333/.442/.663 1105 ops (WTF) 131 runs (WTF!)
David Justice- .287/.413/.476 889 ops 21 hrs and 88 rbis
Richie Sexson .255/.395 31 hrs 116 rbis
those were the big sticks- but Fryman, Sandy Alomar were solid as well.
now that is a historic offense.
Kenny shouldve trucked his ass at 1st base.Pedro wasn't impressed.
I'll tell you what, If the Yankees don't make playoffs I'm throwing my body into a pile nailess kittensNo. Do you?
