If not for a rain delay, the Yankees may not have lost a series since like May of 2005

Win this series vs Baltimore then try to go 6-4 or 7-3 on this upcoming 10 game homestand would put us at 77-68 or 78-67 with 17 games to go. I would like that position.

Houston @ Texas,. Hope Texas keeps the pedal to the medal

Detroit @ KC, something has to work for us there

And of course, Boston gets to play Tampa and Oakland back to back........Pussies

Imagine being the Cardinals, trying to stave off the Mets?

They have an entire month playing the Cubs and Pirates

Mets are playing the Braves and Phillies all month

Something aint right

Yeah they should not have so many division games to in September to give certain teams an advantage over others who play in much tougher divisions

The ORIOLES do exactly one thing very well.
They hit the ball out of the park like they are doing the homerun derby and not playing real baseball.

It is the most ridiculously stupid way to play baseball in the Money Ball era.
It is almost impossible to watch when they go ice cold. All or Nothing.

But, they have 10 guys in the lineup who have hit 25+ homeruns at least once in the past 4 years.
They built an entire team of power hitters, who cannot run, never walk, and strikeout a ton.

Yeah taking a pitcher down 3-0 in the first and forcing the bullpen the pitch 7 or more innings makes sense. This has nothing to do with Girardi

The Yankees got their ass kicked tonight. Simple as that. Using Girardi as a scape goat for everything is lame

there are 2 MAJOR factors that go along with winning a game, the coaches strategy, and the players execution... we agree? of course we do its common sense. so if i blame mortardee for a loss, i got it 50% right! again, every game is a playoff game and should be managed as one, green struggled in 1st, came out in 2nd and same... green is not a household name, no reason to stay with him... we have an expanded roster, throw an unknown, pitchers always have the advantage at first.

Not a way you want to start a series; Your ace pitching and still losing 8-3 to Tampa. Hoping for better tonight from Toronto.

Good win by Boston though.
