I don't get why after all this time why he would go to the NBA now... I would imagine he's had a number of chances and was offered better situations than the Pistons can offer him. I'd be pretty surprised to see him make the move to the pros...

I would be shocked to see Izzo go and especially to the Pistons but if there ever was a year...this might be it.

Payne and Appling gone forsure. Harris almost certainly gone. Obviously MSU will re load and Dawson should be around but I think next year will be some learning curve for a lot of that team.

Amick said that Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores would pursue Michigan State coach Tom Izzo to take over in Auburn Hills.

By Wednesday, with rumors only gaining more attention, Izzo seemed to have had it with the distraction. Yeah but you know how many times i thought they were done too? He gets the 3 stars like draymond green and molds them....i looked at next yrs team and wondered if we will keep the tourney streak alive...

Dawson will be there with trice and valentine....i think kaminski will end up being a go to guy for offense....hes only a frosh and can shoot lights out....still have costello and schilling....add in ellis....the recruit tum tum....heard hes still trying to get a 5 star SG...just got a 3 star the other day.....not to mention he has deyonta davis from my old city muskegon...hes a JR who just won a state title...Had like 26 pts 13 rbds in title.....im hoping he lands jaylen brunson from here in chicago....hes recruiting him heavily...but hes not had much luck here in chicago lately....brunson just scored 56 pts on okafors team in the final 4 last weekend...and hes a JR.


But i agree...gonna be interesting to see if izzo can do it again....i remember when green graduated i thought dawson was going to be the next "man" ...but instead it was payne and harris...the torch just keeps getting passed..
