I agree.....the 2 biggest factors on the tigers are nicky c and rondon.....if theyre both solid then the tigers will be ok....just look at the era of our guys in the pen last year.....joba? Coke? Below? Rondon? Krol? AL AL? Nathan was the only one under 3.00.....and he wasnt a tiger.....then subtract smyly and benoit who were both good in the pen.....for a team hunting for a WS, the pen scares me.....but i guess alot of tiger fans say give em time and our problem wasnt the pen, but our inconsistant offense.....so we will see.....if the pen does their job, ill eat my crow happily.

I agree the pen is in for some very rough days. The only good news is that JL wont be managing the pen. While I liked JL, i always thought pen management was his biggest weakness.

It always seems like the royals and tigers play each other to start the year. I would rather see ventura than duffy.

Not this Detroit fan. I said several pages back that KC's pitching will keep them close.

And ive also been on the kc bandwagon for a couple of years, just hard to ignore the tigers hater bums. Im more excited about the potential of that offense though.

It would be nice to see the Royals make some noise, tired of the same teams always winning. Like to see playoff teams from the AL be the Royals, Mariners, Orioles and Blue Jays

So Mr hockey...you think verlander is washed up?
Vegas has him at 12 -1 to win the AL cy young.
I think verlander will be in top 3 in the voting.
We all know how the press doesn't want Detroit to win any hardware.last couple years. Verlander Cabrera, and scherzer had to be tons and tons better to win it.

Dougy, JV is FINISHED. Can't say I didn't warn you.

Sharks win again. Went into Columbus and beat the red hot blue jackets. Man it's easy winning eastern conference games.

:laugh3: I'm still stuck on walking dead although i'm losing interest. I dont know why but I like restaurant impossible for some reason.

Wild with a nice win over the Rangers, still worried about holding the 7th seed, Not sure who i'd rather lose to, the Ducks or the Sharks...

After today, I think Yordano Ventura won the 3rd spot in the rotation. Duffy should be sent to AAA given that the pen is stacked to work strictly on control until further notice. (Like Chen sucking or someone's elbow exploding)

No Embiid hurts... Hope he can come back by the Sweet 16 if we are fortunate enough to get there. ISU is no slouch at all themselves.
