This is how delusional some tiger fans can be....on mlive some guy said kinsler will get on base way more than fielder did.....kinsler cant get on more than austin jackson let alone fielder who walked alot. Funny how once a team gets new players, their fans think those players are the greatest and best.

I don't get why you think that putting down other Tiger fans somehow makes you relevant. Prince's OBP was only .018 higher than Kinsler's in 2013. I would hardly call the opinion of making up that difference a delusion. Given the fact that Prince is reportedly going to hit 3rd (in front of Beltre) for the Rangers, I think it is safe to say that pitchers won't pitch around him. It is true that Prince has a career OBP that is .040 higher than Kinsler and your opinion is more likely to accurate.

Why not just state your opinions and support it with facts instead of the constant need to bash others? It makes you look juvenile.

Putting down? Tell me this.....whens the LAST time kinslers OBP was over .400. Princes was over .400 four out of the last 5 years....last year was his worst and he was STILL better than kinsler.....just calling it as i see it....sorry im not homer blind JUST because kinsler is now a tiger.

Making up what difference? Being higher is being higher......just tell me the last time kinslers OBP was better than fielders....i just stated a fan who said kinsler WILL get on base more than prince. I just find that funny since kinsler hasnt done it in the last 5 years....hell has he EVER had one higher than prince? I only went back 5 years. But now all of a suddent kinslers a tiger and hes going to get on base all the time.

I find it delusional when a fan states something that will happen like kinsler WILL get on base way more than prince did. Prince has always had a great eye for walks....has nothing to do with being pitched around....so are other leadoff hitters who get on pitched around? And kinsler isnt? I just think kinsler is like delmon young. He likes to swing that uppercut swing alot....the rumor is fans will get disgusted with his uppercut swing pop ups.

I wonder if a fan would be delusional if he said dirks WILL hit more HR's than miggy......all i know is year in and year out princes OBP has been better than kinslers....so saying kinsler WILL get on more than prince seems delusional.

Relevant? Its the internet....not really trying to be relevant on the internet. I call it as i see it....mlive has alot of those "so called" bad tiger fans. The ones that werent anywhere around in 1997 or 2001 or 2004. Now they are die hards who dont know half the crap they try and act like they know. Here i get along with ALL the tiger fans except you and iffy. Ones banned and the other doesnt get along with most of the tiger fans.

If arod signed with the tigers mlive would be flooded with tiger fans claiming how great arod is.

Hahahaha. I love Prince, but that situation was obviously more than just on the field baseball decisions. Money and a well-liked guys life went into making that move. I had to take a step back when it went down. And Im not sure I want to step back into it just yet. But Im getting ready for some baseball. And Im excited about that.

Theres a fan on the lions board that is the king of overvaluing lions if they are acquired and undervaluing every other team or player in the league. Its frustrating. I know between the ages of 8-14 I was like that. Its one thing to have that mentality as a kid, its another as a grown ass man.

Tigers won in 84, royals in 85. Are you really going to use that? Lol, both are almost 30 years ago. The only thing that matters is the tigers have been relevant for almost a decade now and the royals have not. The tigers retain their stars while the royals are constantly rebuilding. When the royals become legitimately competitive maybe you can start bashing the tigers for winning a world series oh so long ago because the royals one was so recent.
