He's a closer, not a specialist...he should be able to get both righties and lefties out.

I realize that -- Benoit had just pitched the night before to close out the game and Leyland brings him in to try and get a 4 out save with the bases loaded?

THAT is the part that made me frustrated. He micromanaged the 8th inning and it ended up costing the Tigers.

And after pitching to 2 guys, and one guy only seen ONE pitch....he couldnt come out for the 9th.

Would of rather seen coke come in and walk him. Then bring in benoit for napoli.

Dodgers won. avoided going 0-3.
not impressed with the Dodgers. Puig is a good player.
But he didn't run on a ball...he was show boating and then had to run. Seem like he was celebrating before he even reached 3rd base.

Yeah this was obvious before this series that if the tigers couldnt hit this would be a quick series and its shaping up that way. I give credit to the sox but in game one lester looked extremely hittable and they were fouling a lot off. They just let john fuckin lackey shut them out. Hes ok but nothing spectacular. They have thrown away two superb pitching performances. Something has to change and soon if they want to keep this a series. I cant imagine fister allowing less han three runs and the way that offense looks 3 runs is like 10 runs.
