No its the weekend. If you notice i dont post much on weekends. Glad you care tho. Didnt mean to make you mad talking about your lil buddy like that. But the truth hurts.

Casey Kotchman, lol, wow, and you can't be that "dumb" at all to compare Hosmer to Kotchman but if thats your view, itmustberight..(love it when anyone goes into name calling mode, ie mostly tigers fan, the best way to put an exclamation point on stressing the importance of your view point or opinion, lol) and again, with your power position....are you even old enough to know John Olerud, Rod Carew, Will Clark, Tony Perez, Julio Franco, Kieth Hernandez, Mark Grace, Steve Garvey, Ryan Klesco, Don Mattingly and on and on...none of them were power guys, sure they have a few seasons of 30ish HR's, will go out on a limb and say Hosmer will go over 30 at least once or twice in his career, well after the age of 23 but for their careers were NOT power guys.

There have been PLEANTY of players who were not Power hitting 1st basemen, they also put really good hitters at the position, they put just power guys there who can't play defense also but can catch a ball thrown to them.....and guess what else....hardly ANY 1st baseman, power or not, have more HR's by 23 years old than Hosmer...

But hey, you got this one all figured out, youmustberight...

Yeah but pretty much all of those light hitting 1B had a power hitter somewhere in their lineup to offset having no power at 1B. I dont expect you to understand this tho.....1B is a power hitting position....especially now days......olerud had power guys....clark had mitchell....franco? I remember him more as a 2B.....he played 1B at the end of his career because of age. Klesko was a power hitter until he went to SD. but whatever.....kc misses the playoffs AGAIN......no power hitter in that lineup.

and for the 100th time i will say -- hosmer has the POTENTIAL to be the player you are making him out to be, but at this point, he hasn't put it all together for a full season. he has had a solid season this year, but nothing special.

Yeah when he finally becomes that player KC fans want him to be, he will be a yankee.

Verlander didnt look that sharp to me last night....wild....alot of pitches....alot of baserunners.....was able to pitch out of jams getting alot of K's.....id rather have him pitch more to contact then try and strike out every player.

Ill be so glad when santiago isnt in the lineup so much. Just retire already!!!!
