After cuts what are predictions for season

Not sure how you can say that the running game has not improved without seeing actual proof (in a real game). They did make improvements in that area. I would reserve judgment until at least the first few weeks of the season. It is amazing how the first few weeks of the season will reveal way more than the preseason - both good and bad.

I understand that, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. It is amazing how different all teams will be viewed after next week when they play real football. Not saying that the running game won't still be bad but that is still TBD.

How did the team make improvements in the run game area? Other than personal improvement, I don't see how we improved unless you think Sprinkle will contribute that much in the run game. I guess the real improvement will have to be Kelly and if he can take his game to another level. I thought for sure they would upgrade at LG with Lavau's injury history and perhaps Catalina or Clemmings will be the answer in the future.

I think our run game will be crucial this year to the teams success, Cousins' success and of course, keeping the defense off the field as much as possible.

By adding Perine. Personal improvements are by far the main improvements that a team can make. If you are suggesting that scheme & philosophy changes are a main factor - well we won't know if that is the case until the regular season starts. Teams are not going to play their hand during preseason & they use vanilla schemes. Many key players were also either not playing or limited. You really believe that someone like T. Williams is going to play that bad in the regular season?

Again - wait until at least the first few games before jumping to conclusions on the running game or any other aspect of this team.

BTW - another factor is that many seasoned vets quite frankly don't put out maximum effort during preseason (like it or not). Another reason why IMO the NFL needs to substantially cut back on preseason games. When the NFL cancelled that Texans-Boys game last week I thought that they honestly should have just cancelled all of those games. The games are just an outright joke.
