Easy to go back and second guess any/every play call, but with 11 seconds left there were quite a few things that could have happened on another offensive play and many of them would end their season right there.

Remember the adage of you play for the tie at home and for the win on the road?

It failed, but it doesn't make it the wrong call. You couldn't afford to take a sac, nor a turnover, and any sort of longer play that didn't end going OB could run the clock out.

I think Reid saw how New England was putting 8 guys in the end zone, so throwing it into the end zone would've been low percentage. The best play would be to throw a screen and have a wall of blockers, but if the ball carrier is tackled inbounds, it would've been game over.
