Bullshit. The Spurs have been shooting wide open threes all series. They made the Warriors look like fools with them in game 1 and in game 5. Games 2 and 4, they were just not knocking those shots down. I now have to question whether you watched this series.

There is a difference between "TRANSITION" defense, and "Half Court Defense". I challenge you to point out any 3 point shots the Spurs have knocked down in Transition, versus their actual sets in the half court, where players run off screens. You could probably google this to find out what transition defense actually is.

If you don't know the difference between transition defense and half court defense, you really shouldn't be saying their transition defense is terrible.

You are right. I should not have said "transition" defense. More like "help" defense and "switching" defense in the half court. They are either easily confused or very slow in getting tio the guy at the three-point line. But in transition in game one in the 4th quarter they got caught with their pants down a few times. Several shots by Green and Leonard come to mind

Bogut is just awful. he will not look for his shot. can't beat these guys if one guy won't play on the offensive end,

Popovich has a fully loaded bench while Jackson is playing without the services of Lee, Rush, and half of Steph Curry. This experience is what makes coaches, and I expect Jackson to be better from this. Granted, Jackson has made some questionable calls, but this team loves their coach and you can see it in the way they play.

Plus during timeouts Popovich is discussing strategy and how to beat the Warriors while marc jackson is preaching from his chair talking nonsense like "we are a defensive oriented team". its laughable.

How is it laughable? They're one of the youngest teams in the sport and beat a solid #3 seed in Denver when everybody and their grandmother (yourself included) gave them no chance. They took the Spurs to 6 games which is 2 better than what the Lakers have done. Had the Warriors not sustained the injuries they did, this series goes 7 games.

Also, for people to take you seriously, you need to learn some of the terminology in the game better, such as the difference between transition defense vs a half court defense, or players' strengths and weaknesses instead of pretending that you know, because it makes you look more asinine in your approach.

Don't be a fool. Jackson's preaching instead of coaching during timeouts cost them game 1 and game 3. If you knew anything about basketball you would know that after game 1 the series was over; the Spurs knew it and more importantly, the Warriors knew it. Game 3 was a huge eye opener about the difference in the two teams, then the Spurs gave them game 4 but that was it.
Hopefully the Warriors learned by watching the Spurs, and believe me they did plenty of watching rather than playing on defense, that the way to get players open for shots is ball movement and not dribbling around.

Popovich is one of the greatest coaches of all time. If there was one thing we knew with absolute certainty was that Pop was not going to get outcoached this series.

I fully believe that much of Jackson's preparedness came during the off days. He adjusted well to the series and game planned pretty well. With the exception of game 5, the Warriors had opportunities to win every game in the series against a team with a Hall of Fame Coach, 3 future Hall of Famers, and a team that had the 2nd seed in the Western Conference. This while their lone All-star tried to fight through a torn hip flexor muscle, while their starting Center and PG both reinjure their ankles.

Just because all ESPN and TNT showed in the huddles was Jackson's motivational speeches, doesn't mean that's all he said. Much of the time he was reinforcing that their game plan is solid and they need to simply execute.
