Just read Meltzer's blog. A few beat writers have said Mair is a good locker guy. It is kind of hilarious. It seems as if everyone is a good locker room guy.

can never hurt to have extra veterans around for depth, but sometimes its nice to let the young guns roll with depth duties, because they will come out fighting for ice time and minutes when and if they get their shot. not opposed to bringing him to camp, but i like guys like wellwood and holmstrom and rinaldo as the depth forwards over mair to be honest.

i didn't think nylander had much of a shot at making the team over a good couturier performance.. mair doesn't have a shot in hell behind nylander and couturier

i dont think any of those 3 make the NHL squad..

Good size 6-2 210lbs. Projects to 3-4 dman. Still young. He would be a good fine if he can make it.

we're 1 under now because lehtivi(insert whatever you think the spelling should be)uri is being released from his last year.. since he's playing in sweden regardless

and noebles, who also has a contract, is slide rule eligible (dont know the eligibility rules) so his contract wont count either, and will start next year, assuming he spends the year in juniors.. a couturier contract would fall under the same category
