Even when he's wrong about some team or player, he'll just regard it as a fluke or continue to say they're garbage. Only time I can recall him admitting he was wrong about something was about Trout being garbage, and that was because Trout was making him look a lot dumber than he usually does. He'll still tell you Brennan Boesch is better than Jason Heyward. Lol. He got caught up in Boesch's fluky 1-2 months in 2010.

But they went from worst to first, and had a fantastic season. David Ortiz was, and will remain, one of my favorite "non-Tigers" players.

David Ortiz use of steroids doesn't bother me as much as the flamboyance. I've never seen so many crass attention whores on one team in any sport in my life.

And even more amazing is that Boston fans will defend their players to the death.

eh, The Tigers had their chances but it shows you how vital Cabrera is/was to the Tigers run scoring. If he was healthy Boston goes down in 5.

Boesch's streak wasn't a fluke.

idiots forget a few years ago he was batting close to .300 almost the ENTIRE season before he broke his thumb, he's a good player.

and at the time, he was playing MUCH better baseball than Heyward, that is simply a fact.

Heyward has still not lived up to the ridiculous hype that was prematurely bestowed on him.

at some point even braves fans have to deal with the reality that he's simply not that good.
