Ortiz' reply was something like, "I'm not sure what the positive test was for. I'll find out and let you all know." (We're still waiting)....

I think as soon as all the Papi's and Jeter's retire, we'll be able to put that era behind us. Until then, it is safe to assume everyone in their mid to late 30's had used something...

David Ortiz use of steroids doesn't bother me as much as the flamboyance. I've never seen so many crass attention whores on one team in any sport in my life.

As long as you can overlook that part in our legal system about being innocent until proven guilty. Look, there is no right or wrong on this. There is yours and hammers side, where EVERYBODY did them. Then, there is my side, who waits for proof to pass any judgement, and, even then, my outrage is mild at best. Guess what? We are both as likely right as wrong.

Agreed. There are two sides to every issue. For me, I just assume everyone did it and I don't get upset about who was caught (from that era, when it was rampant and there was little or no testing)... I'll get mildly upset now, but mainly because they are so stupid for trying it now...
