Yeah they are weird in general. If they do win this game, I can see them beating Duke.

AND . . . . . we all know that empty arenas and empty stadiums can't last for long because somebody has got to pay the bills.

Sporting events being closed to the fans isn't at the top of my concerned list. It is part of it. Cruise lines, airlines, hotels, bus and train travel, restaurants, event centers and many other industries are facing crisis not too. Sporting events is just a small piece of the puzzle. I am still excited to watch a few games without fans. It'll be different. I want to see a player turn to the stands in one of their moronic celebrations and then realize no one is there. Would it be awesome if it happened in the NFL and a Green Bay player scored and tried a Lambeau leap and there was no one there to catch him.

common sense would say no. Manning has lost 18+ games in five of six seasons.

however, the buyout is still tricky. it's becoming quite apparent that Manning has no interest in resigning. He wants to stay. I'm worried that Wake isn't going to come up with the money and Manning will be back for a seventh season.

I've never seen a coaching situation like this before. A coach that has been a complete failure and still wants to stay, but the school can't afford to buy him out. If Manning does return for a seventh year, that should be Ron Wellman's legacy at Wake Forest.

I agree man and this entire situation sucks. The crowds are a huge part of any sporting event and I'm still trying to understand how all of this will be financially possible even though I know that our health comes first.

I'm sure the sponsorships help some but I can't see them continuing the Final Four at the Mercedes Benz Dome if they're not going to have a crowd. Might as well hold the Final Four wherever the Hawks play or some other small venue.

The money the get from TV is massive. They still get that. The NCAA and all its member schools are fine. The money they get at the gate pails in comparison to TV deal money.
