You seriously can not compare ACC o's to B12 o's. There is absolutely no comparison. Even if our tackling failed, most ACC offenses would have a tough time scoring 40. Ground n pound chews up clock.
Yes the ISU game was bad, but it was the last game of a 4 win season. It was time for it to end.

Well the ACC had two teams who averaged 40 points or more. The big12 had 1. If you look at the average for each conference in points scored big is only 4 pts per game better than the acc. 31.4 to 27.5. Not as big as a difference as you would think.
The thing is that WVU who was good on offense once is not very good on defense which makes a big difference playing a ground and pound team. No subs and no stamina to play that type of team. BUt we can go round and round. We shall never know.
