the ACC bowl record was 5-6 this year. 2 of those wins were from pitt/cuse

just saying........

cuse had a strong season, there were 2 games (pitt & psu) that we easily should of won and end up with a 9-4 record had our coach not been an idiot. but oh well it is what it is. no one had SU beating Minn and yet we showed up big in that game. give us crap for not being competitive but we were 3rd in our division behind cu & fsu.

this is the biggest dilemma for the ACC this offseason. as it stands right now our H&Hs are BC, pitt, & duke.

but when louisville joins I think it should go without saying that they should play syracuse 2x as well. i seriously doubt the ACC has Louisville replace duke so that leaves BC/pitt which is going to be tough which school to pick. On one hand you have BC which is syracuse's traditional rival, but they are a weak program and its been so long that these schools have been good at the same time that it is starting to feel like a forced rivalry. pitt on the other hand is more competitive and a longtime SU rival as well. but whatever happens one of these 4 schools (LV, duke, BC, pitt) is going to come away very unhappy.

at 14 teams the b10 & sec can give their teams 4 rivals, at 15 teams you cant do this. what the NCAA needs to do is add a rule that says a 15 team BB conference can have the option to add a 19th conference game, or just flatout add 2 conference games to the season and make it a nice rounded 20 games (big east & b12 would love this)

I'm thinking they should go the way the big east did. Teams with good records from the previous year played two games against the other teams that ended the previous season well. Then they played the bottom half from the previous season only once.

Duke and North Carolina both lost yesterday....seems that the old guard is changing to the new. I didn't see the Duke game, but watched Syracuse put a beating on North Carolina. The Syracuse big men simply dominated the offensive glass. Had Cooney been hitting his 3's, this game would have really been ugly. Ennis is the real surprise, for me. Already knew that Fair, Grant, Keita, Christmas and Cooney were good. Syracuse is looking very good; struggled a bit against Miami, but no team can show up and play great every night. Will Syracuse go undefeated; probably not as the odds of playing that schedule clean is very low. IMO, Syracuse wins the ACC by at least 2 games. Still Gator bait....LOL
