an average MLB game has a total of 18 minutes of actual "play"...pitches, balls in play, etc. 18 minutes.

compare that to football? I was surprised

the average NFL game has 11 minutes of actual "play"

early start today. woke up to a dry heaving dog in my bedroom at 2:30. i woke my girl up and asked her to turn on the lights (lamps on her side) so i didnt step in it. we cleaned it up, i go back to bed only to find the dog had puked on one of my pillows that had fallen to the ground as i was sleeping. i put my fucking face on it...

If 12 steps wasn't considered a perfectly good play without dribbling. If Superstars never were called for a foul. If teams ran an offense....If players actually listened to their coaches (granted they don't have to all the time). etc. etc.
