Rodgers is already costing the packers 46.6 mil in cap. if I am the Packers I say pound sand buddy. If he needs to retire. I guess he is retiring a packer LOL He is under contract.
Not true. Rodgers is due $26.85M in 2022. The cap number is on the team not him. Rodgers is worth more.

If the Packers wanna make sure that AR anti-vaxxer returns next season they need to fire LaFleur and replace him with Joe Rogan.

No shit. Rodgers may be so stuck on himself he smells his own farts, but that's still a ways away from Favre.
In order to reach Favre status, Rodgers has to retire, get pissed off that the Packers went on with life without him, unretire, get traded, retire again, unretire, sign with a division rival and then choke for them in the NFC Championship Game.

Pretty sure they renegotiated the contract last year allowing him to get out this year by trade if he decided.
yeah their cost would drop to 26.8 if they get rid of him.

Every QB is worth more (or less sometimes) from when they signed a deal to the end of it. But they are the ones that signed it knowing this will happen. Another reason of bonuses being in the contract. BTW he just redid his deal for the #'s on there.

The point is that it isn't Rodgers who is costing the team. If a team chooses to spend $220M in a $200M cap year then the $20M that isn't accounted for it isn't really on any 1 specific player, or all of the players collectively. It was a team management choice to overspend and account for the overspend in future years. The Packers are about $100M over the cap. whether none, all, or anywhere in between, of that deficit is listed to a player isn't really on that player - it's on the team's accounting policy. By all means be pissed at Rodgers the player or the human being. Don't be pissed at him for how the team accounts for their salary cap matters.

Heh, yeah. Though there's a rumor floating around now that AR might be keeping track of his stats more than he should be. If that's true. I gotta bump up a few more notches closer to Favre. Brett clearly had no such concerns. As evidenced by the way he would end the season of whatever team he was playing for. With one of those custom, soul crushing INTs he'd throw right into double n triple coverage.

With all the drama its one thing but betrayal is another until Rodgers goes to a division rival to tries to win a super bowl farve is still in the worse.

Yeah but Favre was forced out of GB and told to retire, while Management is sucking Rodgers off to stay . I don't remember Favre needing to be the highest paid player, and seemed like a helluva teammate who really enjoyed the game, and tough as nails. One guy is a Wrangler who likes to show off his junk, the other is a Brokeback cowboy, who likes to look at men's junk
