Aaron Murray = Over-Rated QB

I'm happy to see this thread reinstated so we all can look back at some of the stupid comments made about Murray. Nice going guys.

Florida is 5-13 against teams ranked in the AP top25 final rankings since 2010 which is the year Murray started as a freshman. All five of those wins came last year. If Murray is overrated, so is the UofF.

I was more impressed with Met. Georgia had WRs running wide open through the LSU secondary. Seemed like there was a lot of busted coverages. Murray was still very good, but rarely do you see a Chavis run LSU defense look poorly coached.

This is hilarious ... so, when the Dawgs lose, it's all Murray's fault and he sucks in big games. But, when they win and he plays very, very well in a big game, it's because the D sucks. Got it.

While Aaron Murray has the chance to break most UGA & SEC passing records this year, his career record against ranked teams is only 4-10. According to Athlon Sports, that puts him on their Top 10 list of over-rated QBs. Is the criticism deserved? Does Murray's inability to win big games effect his QB legacy?

Look at the thread title dumbass! He is not overrated, his D sucks; there is a difference. You failed again, nothing is going right for you this year is it, except Driskel is out.

Murray is solid many of the losses aren't on him. If Georgia could have even slowed down Alabama's running attack last year they would have been national champs. They had a chance to win because of Murray.

I'd take him over any of the QB's playing in the SEC right now.

Put Murray on Alabama and he has McCarron's record put McCarron on Ga's team and I don't think he has Murray's record.

With Murray, the team has prey much beaten every team they are supposed to, and now seem to be, as a team, getting over the hump in those toss up games against the best teams in the country/conference.

I'll take him as my quarterback against your team on a neutrel field and we'll see how it goes

Murray just might be the best in the SEC. no weaknesses. He is especially good at avoiding the rush and then finding his receiver. Mettenberger and McCarron, although they are both excellent, do not have that kind of quickness. Manziel does. IMO, the pros will take Murray early.

Yeah, he barely did enough. He was pretty good in the second half last year though.

This is another example of how teams win the games though, and QBs get too much credit either way
