I've been watching the trial on line. It's not on TV. So far it's very boring. The Prosecution is asking a woman questions.

1. Did you go to the defendants house?....................................Yes
2. Did you go inside the house?............................................... Yes
3. Did you see the interior of the house.....................................Yes
4. When you were at the house did you ever stay?......................Yes

45 seconds of dead silence. The Prosecutor picks up 4 pieces of paper and shows two to the defense attorney. Somebody asks for a sidebar.....sound goes off, camera is angled toward the carpet......

No where near as compelling as the OJ trial and that was 20 years ago.

If you want to catch a quick glance...........WBZ.com.

Hernandez's fiancée got immunity to testify. Today she said Hernandez was extremely drunk the night Odin Lloyd was killed............not what the prosecution really wanted to hear.

She muled some money in the middle of the night while police were looking for Hernandez.
Carried a box to a dumpster without asking what was in it or why it could not go in trash.
Nobody believes her. I do - she knows he is a murderer - of course she did not ask him any questions!!!!!

Point.

She told them the exact same thing...nothing...with immunity that she would have without immunity.

She had a "don't ask - don't tell" relationship. There is a special place in hell reserved for her.....

She may already be in hell.......if she testified against him, she'd get a visit from the Boys From Bristol.
She's protecting her own ass.

The trial is live on all of the Boston channels.

Bob Kraft is testifying. Both the defense and the prosecution are trying to get him to be specific about a conversation he had with Hernandez at Gillette on June 14, 2013. He's had to look at deposition documents to recall what he said. The judge got pissed at the prosecutor because he kept trying to trap Kraft into changing a previous answer he gave and she warned the prosecutor. She sustained about 5 defense objections before she warned him.

The biggie was that Hernandez looked Kraft in the eye and told him "I'm completely innocent". The prosecutors kept trying to get him to change that statement and looked totally asinine.

Kraft looks old and vulnerable.

The big issue was that he told Kraft he was at a bar at the time of the murder. The time of the murder had not been released yet. How did he know the time? He was there.....

This would have to be some kind of OJ "cooked" jury for Hernandez to get off. There is more than enough circumstantial evidence to find him guilty.

All the prosecutor needed to do is to prove "two things, first the defendant knowingly participated in the commission of this crime and second, he did so with the intent required to commit the crime." I my opinion, the prosecutor has already done this. Even though I think they have done enough to prove he was the shooter, there is no need to do so in order to convict Hernandez.

I would love to see his skanky GF get charged for perjury too but that's unlikely. She damn well knew what was in that box he told her to dump and she doesn't remember what she did with it? :bullshit:

This isn't enough to convict him of Murder in the First Degree in Massachusetts. The prosecution must have the murder weapon and or an eye witness to the crime. There may be enough to convict him of second degree murder or aggravated manslaughter.

They also have to prove intent. They haven't done that either.

I'm not in Hernandez's corner, I'm watching this to see how the prosecution is approaching the charge that they want him convicted. The biggest arguments for the defense are 1. They can't physically put Hernandez at the scene of the murder. 2. They don't have the murder weapon. 3. They don't have any eye witnesses to the crime. 4. They never found the sneakers that left the tread marks at the murder scene.

The girlfriend certainly is suspicious. She most likely dumped his clothes, sneakers and the gun in that bag of trash she put in a mysterious dumpster somewhere between North Attleboro and Cupertino, CA. We know it didn't just get dumped. All waste is processed in the Northeast and the gun would have been picked out of the separator. I think she put a couple of bricks in the bag, gave it to a Fall River fisherman and it now sits about 400 feet down on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean about 120 miles off shore..

Let me quote exactly what the judge instructed the jurors.

"Judge E. Susan Garsh addressed the jury and pointed out that Fee wasn't accurate and, well, you sort of can be convicted for that under Massachusetts' "joint venture" law.

"The Commonwealth does not require proof that the defendant himself performed an act that caused Odin Lloyd's death to establish that the defendant is guilty of murder," Garsh said. "The Commonwealth requires two things, first the defendant knowingly participated in the commission of this crime and second, he did so with the intent required to commit the crime.""

In my opinion, they have already proven he participated, he was there, and they have proven intent.

don't forget a few text messages between Lloyd and his sister saying he was with Hernandez not long before he was killed

Minutes before the alleged murder took place, Lloyd had this ominous text message conversation with his sister:
Odin Lloyd (3:07 a.m.): "Did you see who I am with?"
[no response]
Odin Lloyd (3:11 a.m.): "Hello?"
Sister (3:19 a.m.): "My was phone dead. Who?"
Odin Lloyd (3:22 a.m.): "NFL."
Odin Lloyd (3:23 a.m.): "Just so you know."
