How is this guy still on a Major League Roster? Honestly.....I think we could bring up a young'n and they would do at least the same if not better.....

No kidding! I saw the first couple of innings, and going into Choke Mode as soon as we got the lead is NOT what should be allowed on a Major League level.

Ditch the bum, and FAST!! PLEASE!!!

I will be extremely disappointed if he given ball 5 days from now. He doesn't even keep us in games anymore. At least guys like Maurer, Beavan, Noesi could be part of the equation down the road. Give one of them a shot the last couple of months. There is really no point in running him out there especially if he is just throwing extended BP out there.

I think Maurer will get his shot in the rotation once more before the end of this year. Harang had some solid starts for us but for the most part he's been as bad as his numbers look. No reason to continue with him any further in my opinion

:agree: Maurer pitched well today and shut them down enough to let us rally and get the win. He should probably take Harang's spot starting now.

Well given how so many of our we depended on FAILED that we counted on in the beginning of the season. started off with blake beaven and maurer both stinking up the mound. the back up plan was to bring up james paxton but he is getting rocked in AAA, another option was to have erasmo ramirez or danny hultzen to throw in the rotation but both got hurt. So i think aaron harang was a desperate move to get a pitcher with experiance.
