Ok.
agree with all of this but the questions was you'd have been good if Bengals retaliated by going after Stafford and knocking him out for the season?Seems a bit extreme going after the QB. The facts are that the Bengals Oline was getting dominated. Bengals started throwing helmets at the Rams players. AD went off. Plenty of fault here but these fights are usually between the Oline and Dline. It’s not going to stop at these joints practices but maybe now we have more rules.
Had a hell of a fantasy year last year and added adams? seems logical to grab himMan I am tempted to grab Carr in fantasy. He’s going in the 10th or 11th round. Dude has some serious weapons.
What’s that Oline been doing lately?
They throwing helmets too?

Yes, it's a hypothetical and didn't happen to Stafford but if it were to happen your reply is "it's practice so no need to to anything (to the culprit)?"
Not with a helmet in his hand.
If he had made contact with someone and it fractured their skull maybe you would think differently. Then again, knowing you... probably not, only if it were a Bengals player swinging a helmet at a Rams player in practice I expect you would change your tune.
yep, extreme....but what is your answer? It’s an extreme hypothetical for sure. QB had nothing to do with the fight

Completely agree context matters.....but also proves the idea "it's practices, we cannot suspend" is not necessarily true when it comes to what the NFL could, would or should do.I think it adds a whole other scenario to these joints practices. If the QB is barking and throwing helmets at the other team, then gets in the fight it is what it is. If the QB is just standing there and not in the fight that’s malicious and someone probably get kicked out of the league. Joint practices are then over and we are back to playing in the preseason. Lol
It’s a weird hypothetical but things could turn that direction with these joint practices I guess.
Bottom line stay out of the fights and don’t get hurt

There is a line that if crossed you seem to think they'd get involved. I can agree not sure Donald crossed that line.....but it's certainly close and I would not be at all surprised if they suspended him. Though I don't know all the rules of the Personal conduct policy. Is this a situation where even if they did want something done it would have to be a hearing in front of Robinson?
Put me in the column that this one demands a suspension. This one is pretty simple. What he did was assault with a weapon. It goes way beyond a football field whether it is practice or a game.
He should be suspended at least 4 games.
The rule of thumb is that the league allows teams to police their practices. But this goes way beyond a normal football thing. Honestly the league should hit the Rams with a major fine and other penalties if they don't suspend Donald. This is a less of an NFL thing than it is a liability issue stemming from an unsafe work environment. In a couple years if someone does the exact same thing and actually hurts someone, that person could sue the pants off the league showing that the NFL had other instances of unsafe work environment and never did anything about it.
Just trying to find out if you really believe because the rule is you cannot suspend someone for what they do in practice then Stafford is open season with nothing to worry about. It’s just a really bad hypothetical by you. QBs are the only players that wear red jerseys in “practice”
Comparing QBs to a D line and O line like I said it’s just weird
Well of course if you go extreme something will happen cuz. If someone came out and shot the QB yes there would be charges. Your non-answer is an answer.....but I guess I could just ask if the Bengals retaliated by holding down AD and had a code red would that be OK....ending with the breaking of his ankle?
They do not....so going after AD (OK, maybe not code red style) would and should be tolerated by the league?Well of course if you go extreme something will happen cuz. If someone came out and shot the QB yes there would be charges. Lol
Dline and Oline dont wear red jerseys in practice last I checked
Shh..the fake outrage has subsided a littleSo almost a week and no suspension.
You were the first one who said he should be suspendedShh..the fake outrage has subsided a little
Lael Collins threw his helmet at Floyd, AD retaliated. AD should face a suspension.
