I got IP banned once too. Then I put on my "Network Guy" hat and called prospero and said "Hey, no one from my office can get to your site, is it down?"

What got you the permanent timeout, if I may ask? I love hearing the stories.

One of the guys we invited, njdevs30, got a perma-ban for engaging a Wings troll and making it somewhat personal. He got the boot, and wasn't even his fault. Troll's still there.

In my case, I got it for protesting the 24 hour variety ban by posting lyrics to kids songs, repeatedly.

I got some kinda time out and I hadnt even posted there in like a week or two.. I copied and posted the members forum rules.. and said that someone from disney had better show me exactly where I broke any of the rules to get banned... amazingly I was unbanned immediately.
