That said, Banny has ridden the guy hard the past few weeks. He needs a few days off IMO.

Not bringing him in when we have 4-6 run leads would probably do a lot

Last night was another perfect example of why I don't get a good feeling when Dyson comes in. I know I'm nitpicking, but with this team that's about all we have to stay grounded. Yes it's a win, yes he did his job. Giving up 2 hits is nerve-wracking, and the tying run 90 feet away with 1 out.

He gave up two singles that had a fielder within a foot of reaching them. He never looked like he was losing it.

He generated exactly the kind of contact he wanted, it just didn't go exactly where he wanted, any other day those go right at an IFer

Even the last one was nearly bad BABIP luck. The Baltimore chop just barely made the out. It would suck to lose a lead on a play like that, but it's not like Dyson was ineffective. Sometimes shit happens. But yeah preaching to the choir on that one.

Outside the big 2; Dyson and Diekman (Bush has been ok versus LHHs), we don't have anyone that reliably gets out LHHs, so another LHP in the pen would be nice... (Bush has been ok versus LHHs)

Ryan Buchter (Padres), Boone Logan (Rockies), Fernando Abad (Twins), Hunter Cervenka (Braves), and maybe Zach Duke (ChiSox) would be guys that have been effective against LHHs so far this year, are on non-contending teams (as of now), not long term building blocks, won't require much in terms of trade, and are not on a divisional opponent's team
