Only the Knicks though trade away multiple first round picks to secure that terrible roster.

The way the NBA is set up you cant win with good pieces you need to get a Lebron so why not have terrible rosters to try and get that next guy.

If the NBA's system wasn't so bad where they had all these guys joining forces and have all these teams having to tank just so they can get high draft picks because it's the only way of getting better, there wouldn't be so many bad rosters

The NBA is a player driven league, not a team driven league, but it'd be nice if they tried to model the NHL in the regard of having more competitive teams - you should be able to go into the season and have no clue who's going to win the championship - that's how it is in every sport but the NBA - people pretty much knew the Heat were going to win the last two years

and with the salary cap it has been made impossible for small market teams to build in FA, they have to go through the draft. Really the new changes just ensured the Lakers, Heat and Nets will be competing every year and the Knicks will kick back a lot of money to teams not in the luxury.

& supposably the new CBA rules where suppost to help smaller market teams because they where bitching that the top market teams where getting all the stars & now look the smaller market teams dont even want to spend now or even go after a superstar...What a joke we all know the NBA teams & owners got so piss wen the Lakers had already traded for Chris Paul & look he still went to the Clippers anyways.

The NBA needs to insert a franchise tag into the CBA like the NFL has where rebuilding teams with younger players are able to stay on those teams longer so that they're not going elsewhere so quickly

The system is so flawed and the NBA complains when teams say they're tanking but that's because the NBA made the rules so terribly that teams are forced to tank

You don't need a Lebron to win a championship

Couldn't be further from the truth.

It's not like there are a dozen FA superstars to choose from each summer. It's all about FA timing and most times whether the superstar wants to play there or stay there. (see Dwight, James, Shaq etc...)

This season is going to be such a joke. So many teams tanking to get the first pick. It's ridiculous. The NBA is no longer Fantastic. It's TANKING!!

Indeed, the tanking this year is going to be awful ( Looking at you, 76ers GM). I guess I get to enjoy the Wiggins show early though.

Would giving everybody the same amount of ping pong balls help? Force teams to try to put together legit teams?
