Rave reviews of Russell and Randle at today's first summer league practice. As I said before, the Lakers may already have their stars. It will just take a little time to get there. Russell is smooth.

I totally agree TJF12. The guy has tremendous athleticism but never put it all together in a consistent fashion. A case of disconnect somewhere.

I totally agree TJF12. The guy has tremendous athleticism but never put it all together in a consistent fashion. A case of disconnect somewhere.

Some guys just aren't aggressive/assertive enough and never realize their true potential. To me, he's like a poor man's Lamar Odom. Lamar is ridiculously talented and had a Magic Johnson type skillset when you consider his size, ability to handle the ball, etc. But he just did't have that extra motivation and/or confidence required to reach his full potential.

With Jordan lying to dallas then returning to the clippers they might be after Hibbert. reports were they were before Jordan agreed to them. Night have to hurry on that deal. Also, the salary cap was set at $70 million for this season.

Hibbert changed his twitter banner to a Lakers logo. Done deal. Very curious to see the details of the trade.

With the salary cap at $70, I don't think they need to include anyone in the Hibbert trade and still be able to fit in Williams. I wouldn't mind seeing Swaggy in the deal though which would give them a few more million to play with.
