What irks me is seeing young arms like Andrew Miller who were just a chip in trades that brought no rings in. The arms he gave away were the answer, not the ones that failed once in Detroit.

Shitty starting pitching will cost plenty.(4 out of 6 were on Sanchez tab.)

Simon needs to part of that ugly pen if they have any hope of staying over .500 while Miggy is gone. And I don't think the odds are very good anyway.

bats have been around all season, its the pitching staff as whole...how does DD go with Coke for so many years and now stick with AA, Joba and Gorz? Does he think you can just throw anything in MR?

DD not winning a ring with at the time the best hitter and best pitcher in baseball with a high payroll is one thing. Putting a .500 team together around the best hitter in baseball just sucks. Give another GM that payroll and miggy and see what he can do before Miggy falls apart.

The bats haven't been around all year. The bats hit for average, the guys get on base at a great clip, but DPs cancel that out. They don't score enough runs for the amount of baserunners.

Bullpen numbers were borderline good until a few weeks ago. And the winning percentage was the same then.
