LOL, yeah, he couldn't beat out Drew Henson for a starting spot. Then drafted in the 6th round. Sometimes the scouts are very, VERY wrong.

The truth is, with the tigers weaker rotation, JV and miggy need to have monster years, cespedes needs to step up and vmart can't miss a lot of time for this tigers team to be a legit contender. The tigers sacrificed their rotation to improve their pen and lineup, let's hope it pays dividends.

Somewhat, but ye ole Vice types get on my nerves. It won't be surprising to me when other posters stumble into this thread when baseball season approaches. Right now, we're still in the doldrums now that the Scherzer and Shields talk is done and over with.

Yeah, the surgery is done and it was to repair cartilage, not muscle. Recovery time is 4-6 weeks NORMALLY, but you never know about setbacks with a guy who is north of 35.

Also, Miguel Cabrera is expected to be ready for the start of the season, or "very very close" say Dave Dombrowski and head trainer Kevin Rand.

Really, the best news we could hope for with those two important pieces.
