It was just a week or so ago that David Price was hailed as the true picture of a #1 starter. More so than anyone the Tigers had ever had. This was meant as a swipe at Scherzer and Justin Verlander. I said to my friend then that the local writers were truly idiots. That they grasp at tiny bits of info, or segments of game info and want to come off as geniuses. I myself remember all to well when the Tigers would rip on Price when he was a Ray, and his complete meltdown against the Yanks last year. 15 - 12 last year seemed all to similar to the bad year Verlander to me, and I cannot ever remember Verlander giving up 17 runs to the Yanks over 2 2/3 innings!!! The guy is not worth more than Scherzer, or the money the Tigers are currently paying Justin. I still believe Verlander will return to the reliable ace he had been for so many years.

Royals fans want to think their team isn't causing these fights... but now we are up to 3 different teams out of the 4 teams they have played so far that got into it with them... do you really think its the other teams? Eventually all the emotion these guys are fueled with is going to backfire on them... Its going to be fun to watch these guys in KC self destruct.

Ventura is going to be the catalyst... because he is going to be the reason his hitters keep getting hit with pitches.. if he isn't the reason already...

KC fans talk about how many times their guys have gotten hit.. Have you guys noticed how many times your guys are jawing to the other team? Think maybe they are rubbing other teams the wrong way?
