Now doug starts to make up stuff. MSU has a shot at Big Time. UM - will play in December, not even in the Rose Bowl. Just one of the "Who Cares" Bowl games.

Final word on the pretenders at the University of Michigan. All in all, a 9-3 record has to be considered a surprise. Most Wolverine fans were just hoping the team would get themselves bowl eligible this year (7-5). Bad news. The UM played 4 teams that are now top 25 teams....they lost three of them. That is not a good sign going into a bowl game...unless they draw some 6-6 team, which is not likely. The Wolverine season will look good on paper, but it lacked substance. Now we wait and see if Harbaugh's khaki pants and tantrums can recruit top players well enough to sustain a decent program.....or does MSU remain top dog for a another few years?

The Wolverines WERE great many years ago...but their time has past. Today....the POWER is in East Lansing (and Columbus). Sorry, but most adults realize that fact.

Yes. The fact that the best QB to ever play the game is going for his 2nd straight super bowl and 5th over all. Until this year a sparty QB was good for only carrying the clip board on sundays.

All ol' dougie can do is bring up the past. Sad, very sad. What were those final scores against Utah, MSU, and OSU...THIS YEAR????

Good news doug. UM might get a January 1 bowl game. Not because of the team's talent...but bowl organizers think Jim Harbaugh's sideline TANTRUMS will draw viewership! I forget what bowl game is considering the UM...but they want JIMBO, more than the team. LOL

I see Price almost DOUBLED what Detroit gave Zimmermann. (2 year longer contract, of course). Price will average $31mil a year and Zimmermann $22. So Price (on avg) will make 40% more per year than Price. Thus, if Zimmerman wins say, 18 games, Price should win 26 to earn his pay.
