I tried to tell Doug that Ol' Blue is at least two recruiting classes from being a contending team, but he won't listen. He seems to think Harbaugh can suit up and play.

Pretty much. Anyone expecting improvement from a new coach is out of their mind, especially in college football. There were some good things last night though:

Defense looked pretty good, especially Jourdan Lewis and Peppers. They held Booker, a possible Heisman candidate, to 3.1 YPC
Jake Butt
Darboh and Chesson were consistently getting open.

Still, always sucks to start the season off with a loss. But I think we all know by now that dougie's off his rocker.

UoM did well on recruiting commitments for next season. This year is still gonna be tough. I think Harbaugh makes a difference of 1 or 2 wins over last year. That's it.
