Butera is garbage defensively, every bit as much so as he is offensively. What the hell were they thinking by letting go of Kratz?

I remember way back when making a "Start of the Butera Era" post when Mauer got hurt. (Just missed Throwback Thursday....) Good times....

It's those interdivision retreads that make no sense. They saw be not good up in Minny for years. Why? (Those are some ugly stats.)


Butera is garbage offensively too. (Dudes never hit .200, fur eal.)

no run support again.

tiger batters again showed they don't care to battle at the plate.
6th inning they saw only 7 pitches....7th inning only 10 pitches.
not much rest between innings for verlander.
tiger hitters swinging at pitches in the dirt...like they have all year.
how can hitters get fooled with that pitch all year
think the hitting coach or even the manager would work on this???
