Markov is a under-rated defenseman...Can he and Carey Price get along this season? At least they don't have to worry about Allen Walsh tweets about how the Habs should be playing Halak.

I havent read any logic behind Markov's decision.

I also think the Markov-Price feud may have been exaggerated, though I know thats never happened in Montreal. When asked about it both players laughed it off, though they kind of confirmed something did happen.

As far as I know, Canadian law does not require to rescind previous citizenship when becoming Canadian. It's not dual citizenship: within Canada he will be considered Canadian, in Russia - Russian, elsewhere he can use either passport.
Same with USA. I'm pretty sure Fedorov and Gonchar have American citizenship. Doesn't prevent them from playing for Russia.
