No, it's because the guy WEARING that jersey has been to the playoffs every year he's been in the league, has won a playoff game, and has beaten winning teams on the road. So he earns a "pass". Stafford and the Lions haven't. It has zippo to do with a "double standard" and everything to do with the respect (or lack thereof) each has earned.

I just don't see it with Mallet/Hoyer. But that's kinda interesting.

There's a lot of rough edges for the Division, but there are patterns of rotating for second place within the division. Which makes sense to keep fan bases hanging on and owners a little happy.
