I'm stuck in between these two lines of thinking.

The only reason I am pro-"play him" is because we are just in fall training right now. If we still had hope, I would be in the "shut him down" camp.

It isn't just the dogs magic number at this point that makes this season "over". It is the constant injuries this team has sustained.

My buddy noted that the Giants can go 20-5 the rest of the way, and they'd probably still miss the playoffs. Maybe if 4 of the 20 were vs LA would they have a shot...

I was sporting my Rivercats shirt and an orange Giants' hat.

I thought of buying a new t-shirt at the game, but all they had were Rockies gear for some odd reason.

A friend of mine, just before we left for Colorado, did score me a nice Grizzlies hat. It looks nice, but I think they are now the Astros farm team, right? Hard to keep track.

I haven't gotten any Grizzlies' gear since they moved to the Astros (forced to, I might add). Hey, if you had an whole section to yourself, that would have guaranteed you a camera shot in the game. "Hey, who's that dude with the RiverCats/Giants gear sitting all by himself?"

Thinking on the Grizzlies' gear, I would guess that I'm the only guy in Orange County that is wearing a Grizzlies' t-shirt and/or hat. I've got two of each. Sometimes, I'll mix a hat with a Giants' shirt or vice versa. If you are ever in Orange County and you see some weird dude with Grizzlies' gear, you will know who it is.
