this sort of reminds me of the first 60 games of the year. We don't look stellar but we seem to do what's needed. Price locked in after the first inning .... but .... almost all his mistakes were in the 1st inning and we took adveantage of them. 4 in the first gave Bum the breathing room he needed today.

I sense this has been a running joke/debate on here.

Does anyone believe he should be the closer?

Stanford and USC ready to get it on. Big game early in season. I know Flem has a big interest in this game. Should be a barn burner.

Go Stanford !

Not a zero chance, maybe 20%.He'll need to take less money than he's worth, he does deserve more than we will be willing to pay

Hitting only .210 from the right side. Yikes.

About time he pulls a J.T. Snow and just commit to being a full time lefty hitter.

Yea. But that will not happen until he gets his long contract. Switch hitters get paid more.

I agree that it is > 0%, but I can't think of a situation where he does.

MAYBE if we win another ring, and he somehow s plays a big-ish part in it, they will be forced to bring him back, but that is it. We have too many studs coming up, with Kontos out of options and Strickland likely contending for the closer job, that we will need to part with better options than him.

Not for the $16/2 he's going to command...

U think he will get 2/16 from someone? Congrats to him if he can get it, but I just don't see it. 2/10 max, but with the year he has had, he may have to take a 1-year deal somewhere.

Love Romo, but I imagine he wants to close somewhere. He probably won't get another chance here.

Would it shock anyone if the Doyers threw two years, $15 million at him to set up in L.A.?
