"Lank" hmmmm....gotta let that one sink in.

Time to spank Kennedy.

Huff (!), Oxy, Buster, Riot with ownage on Kennedy.

Only two with significant ABs vs. Tron and they're both hitting .200 (Upton and Young). Young has the only Snake bomb off of Ryan.

Fuck those serpent fucks....I like the 4-1 call.

btw, if anyone want two tix to tonight's game and can come downtown to pick them up you are welcome to them.

I just found out that the lower seeds (the Wild Card and the division winner with the worst record) will get to host the first two games of their respective Divisional Series this year. Wow. We're going backwards to the mid '90s. Remember when the Giants had to go on the road to play the Marlins in the 1997 postseason? Apparently, they will go back to the normal format next year, but Bud Selig surely created a mess for this postseason.

I also learned that there is only one day in between the end of the regular season and the playoff game between the wild card teams. Regular season ends on Oct. 3 and the wild card playoff games are on Oct. 5. What if you have some ties at the end of the regular season, like what almost happened with us, the Padres and the Braves a couple years ago?

If the postseason schedule wasn't screwed up enough already, it is also possible that there won't be an off day for one of the teams advancing to the ALCS. That's because one of the potential Game 5's in the ALDS is set for October 12th and the ALCS is scheduled to begin on October 13th.

Thanks, Bud! You are really working on your legacy this season.

Yep, and this was all pointed out in the Spring when they were considering it. My biggest complaint is with a one game playoff for the WC. Stooopid.

However, the lower seed hosting the first two games of the NLDS could very well work to our advantage. Especially with three days from game 162 to game one; I expect we'll have a chance to set our rotation to have Cainer and Bum pitch here before going back to WAS or CIN with Tron in game 3. Excellent chance to be 2-0 and really unfair to the other division winners. Seems like the garden spot this year is the 3 seed. Especially if the WC upsets the 1 seed in the DS.

In horse handicapping we call that a "dream trip."

Tron making it interesting. Is he just farting, or ready for a full on defecation of the mound?

Is Vogey throwing as hard now as he has over the last season and a half? Is he getting the same movement on his pitches? Or is it a location thing?

He just isn't finishing guys off like he used to.
