Awful game today, glad I missed most of it.

Pitiful baserunning (Guppy turns a double into a single because he didn't run out the pop fly, JP caught off 2nd on a grounder, etc)

Poor situational hitting (3 GIDP, 1-7 with RISP)

And pathetic pitching by Tron (4 homers). Who's wise idea was it to send Tron back out there after giving up 4 runs in the 5th and let him give up 4 more in the 6th? At 5-2, this was more easily within reach.

On to Motown to tame the Tiggers.

I was wondering this too. I was watching early, left when it was 1-1 and came back when it was 5-2 after Vogy gave up 4 runs. We have a rested Pen, day off tomorrow and were still in the game. Vogy was throwing alright to the point I left, so maybe Boch was hoping the 5th inning was just a blip. Who knows, but I though he definitely should have been taken out after the 5th.
