Except have successful MLB careers, apparently.

Sorry, McCarty was a stud...
I was a big McCarty fan as I watched him play with Visalia when they were affiliated with the Twins. Was excited when he signed with the Giants.
Gotta give him credit, he did not give up, no matter how many times his career was on life support.

Wow...

I knew it was bad, but I just did some research and it was actually worse than I thought.

Ouch, babe...

Garcia may have some good numbers right now but his walk to strikeout ratio is awful.

Bochy is playing his bench like its September but his bench doesn't look like September. Only d'Arnaud is left (hey, maybe he could be the emergency catcher, by relation).

That game meant nothing in the standings, but was that not a simply enjoyable game of baseball? That was fun.

A loss is better than a win.....until Friday-Sunday.

F the Dodgers.

Also, hello. That is all.
You finally off your e-coke binge with all our dues money? The place is starting to look like a sty. I hope you saved enough to hire a broom-pusher, at least.

And there was a filo "sighting" to put the cherry on top of the evening! Now we need a Colin reverse jinx on the last day of the season to eliminate the Dodgers (er . . . or, rather, NOT eliminate the Dodgers. Yea, yea . . . that's it!).

While the Giants did the Padres a favor, allowing them to pull within a half game of the 3rd pick (3rd through 8th is pretty much settled, except for the order), the Giants' win eliminated them from the 8th pick. The Blue Jays now have a 2 game lead with only 4 games to play. The Giants have the Twins and Mets breathing down their necks. With the Dodgers losing today (yes!), it is vital for the Giants to sweep them this weekend. We may have to settle with the 11th or 12th pick.

1) Baltimore 45-111 - (6 games left)
2) Kansas City 55-102 9.5 (5)

3) White Sox 62-95 16.5 (5) (3-8)
4) Miami 62-95 16.5 (5) (3-8)
5) San Diego 63-95 17 (4) (3-8)
6) Detroit 64-93 18.5 (5) (3-8)
7) Cincinnati 66-92 20 (4) (3-8)
8) Texas 66-91 20.5 (5) (3-9)
9) Toronto 71-87 25 (4) (8-12)
10) Giants 73-85 27 (4) (9-13)
11) Minnesota 72-84 27 (6) (9-14)
12) Mets 73-84 27.5 (5) (9-14)
13) Anaheim 77-81 31 (4) (10-17)
14) Philadelphia 78-79 32.5 (5) (11-17)

After developing the said coke binge problem, @Stokes1931 tied up my dues in some form of contingency-savings account plan that only allowed me to withdraw cash after a clean piss test. Safe to say, I haven’t seen a cent of that money since Bumgarner lifted his valiant arms in 2014. I’ve both blessed and cursed Stokes for the last 4+ years.

Rest assured, money has been secured for me, but I don the janitorial clothes until I ascend to Ryan Leaf status.
