ONE potential problem with that:

The Angels play at home tomorrow. Their game is likely to end hours after our home game.

If the Rangers win tomorrow at home and the Angels lose, then the Rangers clinch when they are in the clubhouse and not on the field.

Weaver goes tomorrow so Angels will most likely win. At this point I'll be happy if they clinch anytime before boarding the plane to Anaheim.

I know it sounds like we're all being too spoiled by this.

But, why not hope for the cosmetic clinch?

But you're right and I agree that we should be thankful they are about to win the division and clinch before LA.
